History

A.B., a 35-year old female, who slipped on ice and hit her head. She presents to the hospital complaining of a head ache and inability to move her left arm. A CT was obtained, which revealed a left temporal contusion and a right subdural hematoma.

Treatment

Patient underwent a right-sided craniotomy for evacuation of hematoma.

Recovery

Immediately after surgery, examination of the patient revealed that she had regained the ability to move her left arm. Patient was discharged from the hospital in one week and returned to work six weeks later.
